Creative Commons Licenses In-Person

Did you know? March 3-7, 2025 is Open Education Week! Celebrate by attending an OER event at PCC or choose from any of the events taking place around the globe

Title: Creative Commons Licenses

Description: Creative Commons (CC) licenses let you know up front what you can do with certain copyrighted materials. These licenses are found on all types of resources such as images, videos, handouts, posters, infographics, articles, books, and much more. In this session we will learn what all the letters and combinations of letters mean (BY, NC, NC, SA) so that you have a better idea of what you can and can’t do with CC licensed materials.

Audience: PCC Faculty and Support Staff (full and part-time – all are welcome!) who need a beginner crash course in the basics of what CC licenses are. If you have created materials that you want to add a license to, then you should instead attend CC @ PCC.
